Desch (Japanese: デッシュ) was an officer of the Free Planets Alliance. He was a frequent but silent guest in the conference room and command cente of Iserlohn Fortress. (LOGH: 'The Yang Fleet Goes Out', 'Sudden Change', 'Towards Peace, Through Bloodshed')

At some point following the end of the Alliance–Imperial War, he was assigned to the planet Lusiana, a strategically important planetoid which produced cruisers and destroyers. When the Second Alliance–Imperial War began, Lusiana was attacked by the Mittermeyer Fleet. Vice Admiral Baunsgoal had Desch launch all ships capable of navigation, and join Yang Wen-li and work under his command. He was once again a frequent fixture amongst Yang's subordinates.
