Duke Jürgen Offer von Pegnitz (Japanese: ユルゲン・オファー・フォン・ペクニッツ) was an Imperial noble who was the father of Katharin Kätchen, the 38th and final monarch of the Goldenbaum Dynasty. He was her regent for about a year, before signing a letter of abdication on her behalf on 20 June 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE). (LOGH: 'Long Live the Emperor!')

He was one of the few high nobles who did not side with the Lippstadt League in the Imperial Civil War of 797 UC (488 IC / 3597 CE). Pegnitz was a collector of art and was indebted to some merchants, owing about 75'000 Imperial marks. When the decision was made to make his daughter kaiserin after the abduction of Erwin Josef II, prime minister Reinhard von Lohengramm had the government pay his debts. He was the son of the 3rd daughter of Otfried V. (LOGH: 'The Abduction of the Young Emperor')

Katharin's regent was also her father. Upon her taking on the position of Kaiserin, Pegnitz was elevated three ranks from viscount to duke. The 30-year old duke had no interest in politics or the military and indulged his passion and fortune in amassing ivory works of art. The documents of abdication he signed also guaranteed the Pegnitz family's new noble rank and also granted Katharin a lifelong annuity of 1.5 million Imperial Marks.
