Service history

The Tlahuixcalpantecuhtli participated in the Second Battle of Tiamat. On 11 December, between 16:40 and 18:10, while the 9th Fleet was under heavy Imperial fire, the Tlahuixcalpantecuhtli was engulfed in the explosions of two of its escorting cruisers, and was destroyed, killing Vice Admiral Vittorio di Bertini. Design

The Tlahuixcalpantecuhtli like other Alliance flagships of the era, had a single very large engine section, but was notable for having its frontal weapon section connected to the engine section by a narrower midsection, which was reinforced by additional armored plating along its flanks.
