Design
The Heimdall was very similar in layout to a standard imperial battleship. The chief point of difference is the prow, which featured a different armament layout and mounted additional structures on the port, starboard and ventral side of the prow. It was identical to the flagship of Karl Gustav Kempff, the Galdhøpiggen. Heimdall and Galdhøpiggen were both prototype designs for the standard battleship of the Imperial Navy at the time. (OACE)
