Service History
The Beowulf's first campaign as the head of the Mittermyer Fleet was in Reinhard von Lohengramm's campaign to defeat the Free Planets Alliance's invasion of Imperial space in 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE). It would go on to fight in the majority of the battles fought between 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE) and 801 UC (3 NIC / 492 IC / 3601 CE).
As Mittermeyer's flagship, the Beowulf served to announce the presence of the "Gale Wolf" on the battlefield. The mere sight of the Beowulf on the front line inspired friendly forces, and caused the enemy to panic. (LOGH: 'The Two-Headed Snake: The Battle of Rantemario', 'Rumbling')
The Beowulf was damaged several times in its career, including the Battle of Amritsar Starzone, and the Battle of the Corridor.
