William Odets (Japanese: ウィリアム・オーデッツ) was an Alliance politician who was sent to negotiate with Kaiser Reinhard after the Galactic Empire declared war for a second time. Initial talks with Fleet Admiral Wolfgang Mittermeyer were inconclusive, and Odets was ignored upon arrival on Fezzan to meet with the emperor. However, he did meet with Adrian Rubinsky, the former Fezzani leader, and agreed to spread rumors of Fleet Admiral Oskar von Reuenthal's possible treachery to weaken the Empire.
