The Second Battle of Vega was a major battle in the Earth–Sirius War. In 2703 CE, the Black Fleet, commanded by Joliot Frankul, engaged a United Earth Government Space Force armada in the Vega Starzone. The Black Fleet was composed of 6,000 warships; the UEG fleet numbered more than 20,000 strong.
Despite the organizational, technological and numerical advantages of the UEG fleet, Frankul was able to achieve a resounding victory over the Earth forces. With this victory, the tides of war shifted in the Anti-Earth Movement's favor.
