Description

Shortcut template for returning the 'formatted' name space (or page type) of the current article.

Syntax

{{SUBJECTSPACE formatted}}

Sample output

{{SUBJECTSPACE formatted}} produces: template

{{SUBJECTSPACE formatted}} on Maurya produces: article

{{SUBJECTSPACE formatted}} on Category:Images produces: category

Notes

This template takes the name space of the current article and return a lower-cased or otherwise formatted version of the same. For example, when used on an article it will return the string article, and when used on an image it will return the string file.
