Tokuma Shoten (Japanese: 株式会社徳間書店, Kabushiki-gaisha Tokuma Shoten) is a Japanese publisher which owns or formerly owned several large media properties. Founded in 1954, the company grew to become one of the largest entertainment publishers in Japan by the 1990s.

The company was formerly involved in several different publishing areas — including music, video games, and anime. It previously owned Daiei Motion Pictures (now Kadokawa Pictures), producers of the Gamera and Zatoichi series of films, as well as Studio Ghibli (now an independent company), producers of several popular anime films including Spirited Away and My Neighbour Totoro. Additionally, during the 1990s, a subsidiary called Tokuma Shoten Intermedia dealt with video-games development and publishing. However, following the 2000 death of the company's founder, Tokuma Yasuyoshi, these properties were shut down or sold off.

Tokuma Shoten is one of the primary rights-holders of the Legend of Galactic Heroes franchise, and has been involved in much of the licensed media works based on it, including several video games and books.
