Saw your user page — just wanted to let you know that the type of clean-up you're doing so far is very valuable. Most of the articles here were brought over from a previous wiki, which was somewhat hastily put together (sort of in a rush for acquiring content i guess), and a lot of those badly need restructuring, typo fixes, and so on. Blu-ray rip of main series?

Heya, do you know of anywhere I can get the blu-ray rip for the main series? I missed the opportunity to get it a while ago. Vympel 08:21, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, but I've lost the links for the rips (which I assume are those in .mkv format?). Those links are stored on my PC, which I don't have access to right now. No problems. The DVD .mkvs are perfectly fine, but I would like to upgrade all images to blu-ray rip size at some point in the future - there's no appreciable increase in detail of course, but I do like the larger images all the same. Vympel 09:37, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Admin rights

Hey there! Thanks a lot for the awesome work you've been doing on the episode pages. I'm sorry that it's been a bit slow here this whole year; i had meant to get back into it but i just keep getting distracted by other things. We'll see what happens next year.

Anyway, because your work has been so great in both quantity and quality, i thought it'd be helpful if you had admin rights. This will let you edit the Staff and Policy name spaces, delete articles, and stuff like that. As always, let me know if you have any questions. I do watch the site, even if it doesn't seem like it :p

Screencaps

Just noted your blu-ray rip screencaps of the gaiden series appear larger than the ones I'm using (courtesy of CA). Where'd you get em from? Vympel 02:09, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

I guess it is because I'm watching the series (also from CA) on a large screen (1980x1080 resolution), so my screencaps were also enlarged accordingly. But because the video resolutions are in a 4:3 ratio, I have to crop it to 1440x1080 to remove the empty black spaces created by my large screen. Glacierfairy 03:01, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Must be your settings. I watch mine on 1920x1200 resolution and it still produces the screencaps in their native resolution. Do you use MPC? Vympel 05:51, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Never heard of that one. I can't decide which resolution is better, but the OCD side of me is rebelling at having different resolutions screencaps from the same source. Vympel 11:01, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
