Service history
The Palamedes led the 9th Fleet in the Alliance invasion of Imperial territory in 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE). With Alliance forces suffering from a supply shortage due to Imperial attacks on their supply lines, the 9th Fleet was ambushed at extreme close range by the Mittermeyer Fleet in the Alviss System. The Palamedes was damaged in the opening moments of the battle, causing a cable to fly loose on the ship's bridge, which struck and severely wounded Vice Admirl al-Salem. The Palamedes' final fate is unknown. (LOGH: 'The Battle of Amritsar Starzone')
