The Bremen (Japanese: ブレーメン) was an Imperial patrol ship which was captured by the Free Planets Alliance. In April 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE), Rear Admiral Yang Wen-li requested such a vessel for use in the upcoming operation to take Iserlohn Fortress. The ship was delivered as planned, and, on 13 May, Yang ordered the Rosen Ritter — disguised as Imperial soldiers — to guide it to Iserlohn.

Shortly after Iserlohn's commanders detected the presence of the Alliance fleet in the Corridor, they received a transmission from the Bremen requesting assistance. Although a cover story was devised which had the Bremen, having been dispatched from Odin, engaged in combat with the Alliance — and the 13th Fleet laying down fire to support this — Iserlohn Fleet commander Admiral Hans Dietrich von Seeckt's chief of staff, Captain Paul von Oberstein, correctly deduced that this was a trap. However, Seekt ignored Oberstein's advice, insisting that they deploy in order to rescue their allies.

The 15,000-strong Iserlohn Fleet launched at once, and were soon lured away by an Alliance signal originating near the planet Anshar. Meanwhile, another transmission was sent from the Bremen to Iserlohn, advising that they were being pursued by the Alliance fleet and still required assistance. Iserlohn garrison commander Admiral Thoma von Stockhausen, unable to reach Seeckt's fleet, opened fire on the Alliance ships pretending to attack the Bremen. The Alliance fleet fell back, and the Bremen, citing serious battle damage, requested urgent port entry; this was granted. (LOGH: 'The Rosen Ritter')

Having gained access to the fortress, the Rosen Ritter were able to gain control of the command centre — ultimately ending the seventh Iserlohn offensive in an Alliance victory. (LOGH: 'Iserlohn Captured!')
