The Dverger Starzone (Japanese: ドヴェルグ星域) is a starzone which is notable for having been the site of the Battle of Dverger Starzone in 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE).

The name 'Dverger' refers to the dwarves of Norse/Germanic mythology. Dverger is the spelling used in modern Norwegian (from Old Norse dvergr), whilst the LaserDisc's rendering Dwelg is likely derived from the Old English dweorg.
