The Heorot was the personal warship of Imperial Fleet Admiral Karl Edward Bayerlein.

Military service

The Heorot was the battleship of Rear Admiral Karl Edward Bayerlein, in the Mittermeyer Fleet. It presumably participated in all of the campaigns in which Rear Admiral Bayerlein fought. Following his promotion, Bayerlein transferred his flag to his new personal warship, the Nürnberg.
