Mrs Mayer (Japanese: メイヤー夫人) was a citizen of the Free Planets Alliance.

History
After both Mrs Mayer's husband and son died in battle against the Empire, she approached Yang Wen-li in an airport at Heinessenpolis with her grandson. She claimed that her grandson wished to be a hero, and asked Yang to shake the boy's hand, claiming it would be an incentive for him to realise his dream.
- "Mrs Mayer, when that child grows up, I think a peaceful age will arrive. It will most likely be unnecessary to force him to be a soldier."

Background information
Mrs Mayer appears to have been a jingoist: from her behaviour, we can assume that it was her dream for her grandson to become a soldier, not the the boy's dream. The boy's (very) young age would seem to support this.
