Paul von Oberstein's dog was a dalmatian owned by Fleet Admiral Oberstein for several years prior to his death.
In 801 UC (3 NIC / 492 IC / 3601 CE), a dying Oberstein left instructions for his butler, Raabenard, to feed the dog chicken, as it was old and would not live much longer. (LOGH: 'Dream: To See It to the End')
