The Sirius Republic was founded in 2704 CE by Carle Palmgren at the end of the Earth–Sirius War. The Sirius Republic dissolved three months after Palmgren's death in 2706: his successor, Winslow Kennes Townshent declared himself a dictator, transforming the Sirius Republic into the Sirius Empire. Townshent died the following year in 2707, and the Sirius nation dissolved soon thereafter.
The capital of the Sirius Republic was the planet Rondolina in the Sirius Starzone. Most, if not all of the colony worlds were represented in the Sirian Congress. (LOGH: 'To Earth')
