Alliance Education

I notice that most officers who become so through the Academy and not through some kind of field promotion enlist at the age of 16. Since its been established that High Schools (Jessica worked at one as a teacher before going into politics), Colleges (mentionned by Yang) and Universities (mentionned at several points) exist within the Alliance, and that there is an education system roughly similar to our own, does it mean that people finish High School at 16 in the FPA? Not necessarily. If you look at the legal enlistment ages for various military forces around the world, the ages for some are 16 or 17. Enlistment would be in lieu of finishing school. It does seem to suggest Julian is a high school dropout. Iracundus 07:22, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
