Proper name?

What's this chap's name? I note the page is called "Yusef Tpalour", but the screencap about the character redesign doesn't support this. Shouldn't it be what the DVD says? Or am I missing something? Vympel 03:20, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

It's not worth it. W2 ignores W1 stuff. And is so short playing it near to W1 will make it seem that much more underwhelming....

Should've corrected myself - before, I had only ever played the original Witcher, so that was another incentive. Also I just wanted to refamiliarize myself with the world, it had been so long. Vympel 03:23, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

I think the correct spelling of this guy name is: Yūsuf Topaloğlu, a Turkish name, though this guy is blond, and I thought Turkish are... Middle East Asian, black haired? or I could be wrong. Maybe Yūsuf's dad was a Turkish, and his Mom was a blond :p Anyway, I know this from:

Checked Topaloğlu on Wiki and Google, the results showed various Turkish guys, so I think it's correct. The remaining problem is, I couldn't get an IPA transcription on how exactly Topaloğlu is pronounced, so I can compare it with the Katakana transliteration. I mean, we can't be always so sure. Maybe I'll check on Turkish phonology and it's writing/romanisation system on Wiki later. I think that "ğ" doesn't sound like English "g". Anyway, I think Topaloğlu is the correct one (80% sure). It certainly looks better than Tpalour or Topparol.
