Terraforming

Terraforming is the process by which suitable planets are made capable of sustaining a human population. This may include the creation of a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere, the forestation of the surface (to sustain the atmosphere) and the introduction of alien plant and animal life to support human colonization.
