Synopsis

Oskar von Reuenthal returns to his office in Heinessen and assigns Julius Elsheimer to handle all domestic political matters. Job Trunicht is killed by Reuenthal after they both discuss their ambitions and Reinhard von Lohengramm. Reuenthal is visited by Elfriede von Kohlrausch and her baby.
