After both Mrs Mayer's husband and son died in battle against the Empire, she approached Yang Wen-li in an airport at Heinessenpolis with her grandson. She claimed that her grandson wished to be a hero, and asked Yang to shake the boy's hand, claiming it would be an incentive for him to realise his dream.
