2023/11/05: The official website for Legend of Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These announced that production on a sequel of the series has been green-lit.

2022/05/13: The official website for Legend of Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These announced that the fourth season of the series, Intrigue, will debut with limited three-week theatrical runs in three parts. Part One will open on 30 September 2022, Part Two on 28 October 2022, and Part Three on 25 November 2022.

2021/10/08: The official website for Legend of Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These announced that the third season of the series, Collision, will debut in theatres just like the second season Stellar War. Part One will open in Japan on 4 March 2022, Part Two on 1 April 2022, and Part Three on 13 May 2022.
