The Battle Vermilion was the final battle of the first FPA-Imperial War. Though the combined fleets of the Free Planets Alliance were able to obtain a tactical victory in the battle, they were forced to surrender to the Galactic Empire following the Alliance' Supreme Council surrender to the Empire May of 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE).
History
In 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE) Alliance admiral Yang Wen-li led an attack against Reinhard von Lohengramm's fleet in an attempt to destroy the Brunhild and throw the invading Imperial fleets into confusion and disarray.
