The Battle of Astarte (Japanese: アスターテ会戦) is the 2nd episode of the Legend of Galactic Heroes OVA.
Synopsis
The Battle of Astarte continues: Reinhard von Lohengramm quickly routs both the Alliance 4th Fleet and 6th Fleet. During the battle with the 2nd Fleet, Admiral Paeta is wounded in action, and relinquishes command of the fleet to Yang Wen-li. Yang manages to evade Reinhard's forces and escape the Astarte Starzone with a sizeable portion of the 2nd Fleet intact.
On Fezzan, Adrian Rubinsky discusses the outcome of the battle with Nikolas Boltik, ultimately concluding that Reinhard's victory will fail to affect the larger strategic situation of the FPA–Imperial War.
