This design served as the standard destroyer design of Alliance fleets in the Alliance–Imperial War.

Design
This destroyer design followed the usual Alliance warship layout, with its engines arranged just behind the bow of the ship rather than the stern and the bridge located on the dorsal side of the ship. When in battle, the bridge could be retracted under the protection of the armor on the dorsal hull.
The destroyer mounted 10 beam cannons of varying calibers on its bow.
Role and Capabilities
This destroyer design fought in all known fleet battles from at least 788 UC (479 IC / 3588 CE). One of its roles in fleet combat was small target defence against incoming enemy fighters. (DNT: 'Amritsar')
Unlike its Imperial counterparts, it was not capable of entering planetary atmospheres.
