Godwin (Japanese: ゴドウィン) was the archbishop of the Odin branch of the Terraist Church. In 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE), the Imperial military police became aware of a Terraist-orchestrated attempt on Kaiser Reinhard's life, and immediately stormed the Odin branch headquarters. Inside, Archbishop Godwin was directing his followers to commit suicide by ingesting poison. Whilst the other church members all perished, Godwin hesitated, and his suicide attempt was interrupted by the Imperial soldiers.

Subsequently, he was taken to Gendarmerie Headquarters for interrogation. During the proceedings, he overpowered his captors and rammed his head against a wall, finally ending his life. (LOGH: 'The Kümmel Incident')
