The Northern Condominium (Japanese: ノーザン・コンドミニアム) was one of two global superpowers on Earth in the early 21st century. In the year 2039 of the common era (anno domini), the Northern Condominium went to war with the other planetary superpower, the United States of Eurafrica. The war rapidly escalated into a nuclear holocaust, resulting in the obliteration of nearly of all of major cities on the planet's surface. Most of the planet's infrastructure was destroyed. At the end of the Thirteen Day War the Northern Condominium, its enemy, the United States of Eurafrica, and many other nations were destroyed.

The Northern Condominium maintained a military space force, presumably of small size and limited in range to the vicinity of Earth and the Moon, which it used to threaten smaller and less powerful nations.(LOGH: 'To Earth')
