O'Higgins

O'Higgins (Japanese: オヒギンス) was a Fezzani independent trader who was friends with Valentine Kauf and shared in his triumphant return from bankruptcy. With his share of the profits from Kauf, he founded Fezzan's largest school of commerce which promoted the slogan "Today, you're a nobody just starting out. But tomorrow, you could be Valentine Kauf II". That university continued to produce merchants, economists, and bureaucrats long after Kauf's fortunes had been misspent by his heirs.
