Name etymology

I dunno about the reference to Amritsar, but Amlitz seems to be an old german word for Antlitz (countenance). The suffix -er would be a personification. Almael 15:22, 20 August 2011 (UTC)

The Japanese DVDs have updated subtitles. It is definitely Amritsar, though why a star system should have such a name on the Empire's side of the border is unknown. Iracundus 10:15, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Yeah i agree it's definitely intended to be Amritsar. The kana for the star match the kana for the city. The people who created the subtitles just didn't understand the reference (some of the stuff he was writing about was kind of obscure for pre-Wikipedia Japanese people). I also agree that it's odd for an Imperial star to have an Indian-derived name, that's definitely something to add to the background info at some point  ♥ kine @ 22:18, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
