Name of Battle?

I've checked DIS: 'Chapter I' and I can't find any reference to Schann-tau; instead, the battle it described as an Imperial defeat in 387 IC (696 UC / 3496 CE) is the Battle of Shandarua (シャンダルーア). So I wonder if this was an error on our part and if so, what name should it be changed to? Shandarua is a direct transliteration but it is the name of a fairly obscure Kenyan town which might not have been the author's choice in my opinion. Glacierfairy 00:35, 7 October 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, i don't know where that name comes from, i think we inherited it from the old wiki, which had a handful of just really bizarre errors. The CA LaserDisc rip calls it 'Shandaruwa'. Too lazy to drag out my scans of the Encyclopaedia, but that Japanese spelling is what's used by Japanese Wikipedia at least. Feel free to rename (leaving a redirect obv).  ♥ kine @ 01:39, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
I think I made this error. I must have been thinking it referred to the same system but now I see the the katakana is different from the katakana for Schann-tau in the DVD guide. I think wee should change it to Shandarua until further notice. After all, Amritsar is a system within the Empire and it is a non-Germanic place name. It could also be one of those systems near the exit of the Iserlohn corridor like Dagon that was the site of these early battles until the battle lines stabilized.
