The Undutiness (Japanese: 親不孝号) was a Fezzani ship captained by Boris Konev. It was a former Free Planets Star Fleet transport ship that was given to Konev by logistics Rear Admiral Alex Cazerne after the conclusion of the Alliance–Imperial War, when the Alliance had to decommission many of its vessels. Background information
The word undutiness in the ship's name is a mistranslation of undutifulness — lack of duty or responsibility. In this case, the Japanese text (親不孝) makes it clear that the undutifulness being referred to is towards one's parents; therefore, a more literal translation might be lack of filial piety.
