Logo opinions wanted
I want some opinions on the Free Planets Alliance pentagon logo I'm making. I want to know which one would be the best to post on here if I can. There's many different versions of this in the show and other official sources. I only put four for now. Anyone know any info regarding the actual pentagon? I have scans but can't read Japanese. Anyway, here's the gallery. The images have descriptions.

- Hmm. They all look good in different ways. I'm not sure which would be the single most accurate/representative if i had to pick one, but i think i'm leaning towards 'OVA 2' or 'Web', personally. The colours in the COSPA one are nice though. idk ♥ kine @ 12:43, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I can't decide either. Doesn't help that I made two more versions (OVA 3 and Cospa 2). Ha. It seems the people working on the franchise couldn't decide either. I noticed that the new video games sort of ditched the two color pentagon used in the OVA and are now going for a more metallic look. The Cospa colors are similar to the video games colors.
- It's too bad we didn't have more members hanging around here to get more input.:(

- Hi, I can't comment too much because I don't know of any official info regarding the Alliance pentagon, but for the flags you posted, I actually prefer the colours for the OVA flags, but with the Cospa pentagon logo. Yeah, the Cospa colors are off since the official images are off in color. I'm gonna mess around with those images again in Photoshop. Unfortunately, the colors will not be 100% accurate since I have not seen the flag in person. I'd order the flag, but I've given Cospa a lot of my money already (I bought the FPA uniform). :P
As far as the pentagon goes, I do prefer the Cospa colors. While the OVA is the original source, there's so many variations. Even the art books and video games aren't consistent. Yoshiki Tanaka was present at the event where the Cospa flags and shirts were revealed. I'm guessing he got to see these designs early on and approved them. With Mr. Tanaka's seal of approval, I think the Cospa pentagon colors are the way to go regarding the flag for now. I'll use OVA colors for the patches.
I'm not sure if I'm seeing things, but I don't think the Cospa FPA flag has the correct pentagon design. I don't think it has that lower cut like the OVA and other Cospa FPA items do. In regards to what I'm designing, I might go with OVA red and blue, with the Cospa pentagon colors (with lower cut). So I guess I'll be keeping up with tradition by creating another variation of the FPA flag. :P Heinessen Hero 03:23, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
