::::As an aside, I have to admit I'm more than a bit curious, where are you getting all this stuff on the games? I've tried (with little success) to find a copy of the relatively recent PC game: I've always imagined the older stuff would be even harder to come by. The only pre-2008 game that seems to be worth a shit at all is the PlayStation one.) The screenshots were all taken by me via emulation. I've also just bought the Famicom game (in box with instructions — ''seven dollars''!) and the Saturn one off eBay the other day, so i can scan the cover art when they get here. | ||

+ | :::::Re the 2008 PC game, i would absolutely love to play this, and of course to get a scan of its cover. Japanese people don't seem to know how to use the Internet, so all of the pictures online are like 150x150 pixels, but i found a forum thread a few days ago that had English-speaking fans showing off their purchases, so i was thinking maybe i could message one of them to see if they'd scan it for me. :x ♥ [[User:kine|kine]] @ 14:55, 15 May 2011 (UTC) |

Famicom page
Do we really need a Famicom page? Canary 06:25, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- Well, Memory Alpha have articles for certain things like this (DVD, Atari, &c. — although if you are imagining a Wikipedia-style article on the history of the topic, that's not what it is. Instead, they write it in a way that is relevant to Star Trek.
- I could go either way i suppose, but intuitively it seems to be along the same principle as creating articles for Neptune and Beta Centauri ♥ kine @ 12:26, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- Except that we can reasonably infer the existence of Neptune and Beta Centauri, and those articles are written from an in-universe perspective. With the categories we have, where would this fit? Merchandise? I don't think logh is a big enough franchise to have a "history" with a particular game format, etc. Therefore I can only wonder what relevance an article on the Playstation, for example, would have to logh. - You may be right. What i could do instead is have an article called 'Legend of Galactic Heroes (games)' — or something to that effect — and set it up with tables similar to how the OVA and Gaiden articles are? Would that be preferable? ♥ kine @ 13:46, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- That would probably be better. Personally, I've always been fond of the idea of being able to merge category pages with article pages of the same name.
