The Hero of Econia (Japanese: エコニアの英雄 ) is the eleventh episode of the Spiral Labyrinth arc of the second series of Legend of Galactic Heroes Gaiden.
Synopsis
Murai, and agent of the FPA Military Police for the Thanatos Starzone, is dispatched to Econia to ascertain the situation. He holds interviews with everyone involved, even peripherally, in the incident. In the end, Fyodor Patrichev is given an unofficial repriment, and Barnaby Costea is placed under arrest, for suspicion of embezzlement.
Alex Cazerne arranges for Yang to be transferred back to Heinessen, and Christopf von Köfenhiller is released from the camp and granted FPA citizenship, as well as a military pension befitting his former rank in the Imperial Navy (Captain).
