The Two Great Ones Strike at Each Other! (Japanese: 双璧相撃つ!) is the 95th episode of the Legend of Galactic Heroes OVA.

Synopsis
Alfred Grillparzer convinces Bruno von Knappstein to join Oskar von Reuenthal's rebellion and then betraying him in the midst of conflict. Wolfgang Mittermeyer discusses battle plans with his subordinates. Neidhart Müller tries to convince Reinhard von Lohengramm to exercise restraint, to no avail. Murai arrives at Iserlohn Fortress as Reuenthal's messenger. Reuenthal had offered to the Iserlohn Republic Government the entirety of the former Free Planets Alliance territory in exchange for preventing the New Galactic Empire from accessing the Iserlohn Corridor to execute a two-pronged attack against him. Julian Mintz decides to refuse Reuenthal's offer. To accept it would only bring about a short term gain with an extremely high chance of reprisals from the Empire later on. Reuenthal and Mittermeyer talk about resolving the situation, but are unable to persuade each other. Reuenthal has realised that Reinhard needed a strong opponent more than anything else. In Reuenthal's fleet, unrest is brewing. Reuenthal explains to his soldiers they are fighting against villainous vassals within the Empire. Moreover, Reuenthal has to secure a victory to raise morale.
