Arnold F. Bach

Arnold F. Bach was the captain of the Dixieland, the flagship of the United Earth Government's Space Force's 4th Patrol Division.
During the 2527 Military Expenditure Hearings Bach became a symbol of the decadence of the space force due to the many privileges he enjoyed:
- Bach's personal living space measured 240 square metres.
- The rest of the crew, 90 total, were forced to share a living space of the same size: an average of 2.6 square metres per person.
- Bach had a personal staff including 1 secretary, 6 aides, 2 personal cooks and a personal nurse. (And all of their salaries were, of course, paid by the taxpayers).(LOGH: 'To Earth')
