Service history
The Dáinsleif led a fleet of 10,000 ships under the personal command of Maximilian von Castrop in rebellion against the Galactic Empire in 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE). Opposed by a fleet of 5,000 ships under Rear Admiral Siegfried Kircheis, the Dáinsleif was cut off from the majority of its fleet and confronted directly by the flagship Barbarossa. The Dáinsleif bridge officers mutinied and killed Castrop after he attempted to order an ill-advised attack. The Dáinsleif presumably surrendered with the rest of Castrop's fleet after his death.
