Dracul (798 UC (489 IC / 3598 CE))

Dracul (Japanese: ドラクール) was a bar on Fezzan which was frequented by Kahle Willock. It was a well-known haunt of independent Fezzani merchants. Apart from the main bar, there were several conversation rooms and card rooms which were protected by an impressive array of anti-eavesdropping systems. There was often irresponsible scuttlebutt including speculation about the activities of Adrian Rubinsky.

It is from this bar that the legend of Valentine Kauf was forged. (Legend of Galactic Heroes Volume 3: Endurance)

Background information

The name Dracul is derived from a Romanian word meaning dragon or devil. It was famously the title of Vlad II, father of the Romanian general and prince Vlad the Impaler, who was in turn the inspiration (both in name and character) for Bram Stoker's Dracula.
