Ion Fazekath

The Ion Fazekath (Japanese: イオン・ファゼカス号) was a large starship constructed out of ice by Arle Heinessen to escape the Galactic Empire. 400,000 of his fellow serfs used the vessel to escape lives of servitude and oppression on the planet Altair VII. It was inspired by a child playing with carved boats made of ice, and named in his honor.

The ship was docked to a remote asteroid in the Altair Starzone, and used as a base of operations for the construction of the Exodus Fleet.

The Ion Fazekath measured 122km long, 40km wide and 30km tall. (Legend of Galactic Heroes Volume 1: Dawn)
