James Thorndike (Japanese: ジェイムズ・ソーンダイク) was the Citizens' Anti-War Union candidate in Terneuzen's 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE) by-election. He campaigned against pro-war candidate Raymond Togliatti. Unfortunately, Thorndike was murdered before the election could occur.
