Legend of Galactic Heroes VI (Japanese: 銀河英雄伝説 VI) is a PC game released in 2001, published by BOTHTEC.
Gameplay
The game was a turn based strategy game played on a hexmap. Ships of both the Alliance and Empire had their own individual performance characteristics, but these were affected by the officers of the fleet they were part of. In turn the abilities of each officer was affected by their morale, which was affected by their temperament (Aggressive, Average, Cautious).
Various scenarios were available based on historical scenarios of events occurring during the LOGH OVA series. A few alternative "what if" scenarios were included. Among them was a scenario depicting the Empire's high nobles fighting at Amritsar after having purged Reinhard von Lohengramm and Siegfried Kircheis, and one depicting Julian Mintz and the Iserlohn Republic intervening on Reuenthal's side in the 2nd Battle of Rantemario.
