German nouns

So my recollection is that we decided to use English terminology in favor of German terminology (hence NIC instead of NRC) but it doesn't look like this was ever codified into policy? It should be, right? And as a result we should add "convert all German nouns to English, EG Kaiser" to the To Do list. Canary 18:20, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Clarification on Japanese name order

I would like to know if the policy update to present real-life Japanese names in the eastern name order is still valid as per 2011/04/25 — Order of real-life Japanese names because this page still calls for the use of the western name order. I no longer feel strongly about this either way, so i'm OK with whatever everyone else agrees on. However, at the moment, i believe Eastern name order is the de facto standard.  ♥ kine @ 12:23, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
