Re: the Fortress tag

I wanted to place all of the space stations in a single category. I could rename "Fortresses" to "Artificial Satellites" or something like that, but given how most space stations are fortresses of some kind, I figured that would be the most convenient/common tag. If there are other space stations out there I'm not aware of, that are not military fortresses, let me know, and we can put 'em and this into a different, separate category.

I am not sure if this is in the dictionary definition or anything, but the term 'space station' to me suggests an artificially constructed satellite. Dayan Khan has an artificially constructed component, but it is built on a natural body — that makes it a base or outpost, not a space station. Also, i'd have to double-check to be 100% certain (so correct me if i'm wrong), but i can't remember the series suggesting that it was a satellite of anything?

I don't see why it can't be placed directly in 'Places' tbh. It's neither a fortress (which suggests it was built for defence) nor a satellite (which suggests it orbits a planet).  ♥ kine @ 12:15, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
