Misc. points

A couple of points to discuss...

First, it should be Hoirkawa Ryo, right?

Second, the links: the reason why this page will take forever to finish is because Horikawa is VERY prolific. That, and the fact that I'm trying to find the English name for each of his series', as well as the English names for the characters, and trying to find an English wikipedia source. Because we're an English-language wiki, I feel like it's better to link to English Wikipedia that Japanese wikipedia. I'm actually pretty impressed with the number of old, esoteric manga and anime with pages in Wikipedia. Well, some stuff is missing. For one of those shows I think I just linked to a list of Shounen magazine manga. So, yeah, I'm not exactly sure how I should be doing this.

Third, given how prolific he is and the number of BIG shows he's acted in, I'd like more biographical material. Sadly, the Japanese wiki article is fairly spartan (other than the filmography). Is there a Japanese analog to imdb or something where I might look for more detail?Canary 18:25, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

I'm guessing you created it based on the title that was listed in Wanted Pages? If so, that's a remnant from before i had switched to your side of the name-order argument. (When i had created all of the initial infoboxes, i had it in English order.) Sadly there is not a good way to immediately know which ones are right and which ones aren't, so this might take some doing, but i might be able to get the bot to auto-replace most of them so that they're the correct order. I will look into it

Re the rest, i can't offer too much advice, since you seem to know what you're doing and what you want, but perhaps you could get some inspiration from some of Memory Alpha's actor pages? (For example, Leonard Nimoy and James Cromwell.) Also, not sure if you're aware, but the English IMDB actually does have a fair amount of information on Japanese actors. Not sure how much in this specific case though  ♥ kine @ 05:50, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
