How to structure this?

I am unsure how to structure this. There are several possibilities.

I had initially wanted to have a brief paragraph about each console. We don't need to have a whole history on the Sega Saturn of course, but some of these are quite esoteric outside of Japan, so it's helpful to have at least a little context. And in order to do that well we'd want to have the article split into sections based on the consoles. (Then we would have all of these wanted pages for 'PlayStation' and 'Famicom' and so on redirect to each individual section.)

However, if we do that, things are bound to get confusing, because most of these BOTHTEC games were released on many platforms at the same time. The first four BOTHTEC games will be listed under just about every PC platform on the entire page — isn't that sort of redundant? I don't know.

The alternative is to just organise all of them in a table by date. That seems absolutely fine for the games themselves, but how then will i get my little paragraphs about the consoles? :/ I'm confused  ♥ kine @ 14:32, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

I think the simplest method would be simply to just go ahead and give each console a section w/ a paragraph, and then a bullet-list of all the games released on said platform with dates and all. Yes, there will be some redundancy, but (hopefully) the little descriptory paragraphs and any relevant images on the page will keep that redundancy from being overly obvious.Canary 20:19, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
