Service history

The Maurya served as a squadron flagship, joining the Yang Fleet at its formation in late 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE). Its first battle was at the Battle of Doria Starzone, where Commodore Nguyen's squadron was instrumental in cutting the 11th Fleet's formation in two. (LOGH: 'New Trends', 'The Battle of Doria Starzone, And...')

By 798 UC (489 IC / 3598 CE), the Maurya had been repainted with a distinctive 'tiger-stripe' livery, and it defended Iserlohn Fortress at the Eighth Battle of Iserlohn. Following the Alliance victory, Rear Admirals Nguyen and Alarcon led their respective fleets in pursuit of the withdrawing Imperial forces, intending to eliminate the few remaining ships. However, both fleets were destroyed by Imperial reinforcements — the Maurya itself was sunk by the Reuenthal Fleet. (LOGH: 'Determination and Ambition')
