Service history

The Leda II's first notable mission was as the ship that Admiral Yang Wen-li chose to travel with from Iserlohn Fortress to Heinessen in 798 UC (489 IC / 3598 CE), for an extra-legal 'inquiry'. When the Imperial fleet and Geiersberg Fortress attacked Iserlohn in Yang's absence, the Leda II took him back, serving as flagship of the small fleet of 5000 ships sent as reinforcements. In the ensuing battle, the Leda II was struck by enemy fire, but its shields held. (LOGH: 'The Inquiry Committee', 'Fortress vs Fortress', 'The Return')

In July 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE), the Leda II also ferried Fleet Admiral Yang and his comrades off of Heinessen. (LOGH: 'Blood Running Down the Stairs: Cascade')

The Leda II eventually became part of the El Facil Revolutionary Reserve Force, which fought the combined fleets of Kaiser Reinhard at the Battle of the Corridor in 800 UC (2 NIC / 491 IC / 3600 CE). When a truce was called and the Kaiser invited Yang for talks, Yang once again elected to take the Leda II. Representatives from the El Facil Revolutionary Government also attended. A Terraist ploy resulted in the ship being boarded by Terraist-controlled Imperial destroyers en route, and a slaughter ensued as the assassins hunted for Yang. With Yang's subordinates having been informed of the threat to his life soon after the Leda II's departure, the flagship Ulysses managed to catch up to the Leda II's position. Julian Mintz and the Rosen Ritter were too late, and Yang was assassinated. The Leda II was then evacuated. (LOGH: 'The Magician Doesn't Come Back', 'After the Festival')
