The Battle of Astarte (Japanese: アスターテ会戦) is the 2nd episode of the Legend of Galactic Heroes OVA.

Synopsis
The Battle of Astarte continues. With both the Alliance 4th Fleet and 6th Fleet routed, Reinhard von Lohengramm shifts his attention to the 2nd Fleet. During the battle with the 2nd Fleet, Admiral Paetta is wounded in action, and he relinquishes command of the fleet to Yang Wen-li. Yang manages to force Reinhard's fleet into a battle of attrition and subsequently escape the Astarte Starzone with a sizeable portion of the 2nd Fleet intact.
In Fezzan, Adrian Rubinsky discusses the outcome of the battle with Nicholas Boltik, ultimately concluding that Reinhard's victory will fail to affect the larger strategic situation of the Alliance–Imperial War.
