Konrad von Modell (Japanese: コンラート・フォン・モーデル) was the son of Imperial Viscount Modell, and, following the Imperial Civil War, the only surviving member of the Modell family. During the war he was a student who was assigned to Garmisch Fortress as a cabin boy. He served aboard the supply vessel Duren 8 during the Battle of Kyffhauser where he was on was fired upon by allied ships under the command of Wilhelm von Littenheim. He was treated in the aftermath by Konrad Rinser and ultimately rescued by the Kircheis Fleet. (LOGH: 'Thunder', 'Courage and Loyalty')

Following the war, he was taken in by Annerose von Grünewald and became something of a servant. He was called upon to take care of rare visitors and prepare meals. He objected to Hilda von Mariendorf stationing greater security near her villa because he felt that no other guards were either required or desired by the countess.
